I stayed at Chamling Purvacha homestay from March 23 to 25, 2024. My experience is very good. If you want a picturesque ideal place for rest and recreation then this homestay is an ideal one. View of Kanchenjhanga group of mountains (sleeping Buddha) from the balcony of the homestay is incredible. View of surroundings are also very good. Housekeeping and catering is excellent. Simadi, main cook of the homestay, is very good in behavior as well as hercooking skill is excellent. Main owner of the homestay building, Madam Deepsikha and her husband are also very good so far as communication and hospitality is concerned. Last but not the least, Bhaskar Chakraborty, present owner of the homestay, is an excellent honest person. He made all arrangements for my group including transport from Siliguri. He is very much transparent so far as pricing of the lodging, fooding, transportation, etc. is concerned. This Ramdhura township is full of flora and fauna. If you are a bird watcher, this place is ideal one. Hope there will be more and more upgradation of this homestay with more rooms in future. I am 200 percent satisfied about my stay at Chamling Purvacha homestay at Ramdhura, Kalimpong district. We had sight-seeing trips around Ramdhura like Icchegaon, Lava Monastery, Kolakham, Jalaha Bungalow, etc.

It was very peaceful. The food was very simple and I liked that. The staff was very cooperative. They also altered the food as required. Only thing I am suggesting is to make the windows air tight and hang thicker curtains.

It was a wonderful experience staying there.

Awesome place to visit. I visited Ramdhura with my parents, who are senior citizens. Both me and my mom got high fever and cold cough due to climate changes. I saw the heart-felt care and hospitality of the Owner and the stuffs. They immediately took us to the Kalimpong Hospital to get treatment, and gave extra attention to us rest of the days. Also foods were delicious. I want to go there again and again…..

Chamling Purbacha homestay is the best homestay in North Bengal in my opinion. There, you will find mental peace along with natural beauty. Those who want to spend a few days in peace in a noise-free area must visit here. Chamling Purvacha homestay’s warm hospitality and delicious food will enchant you. I will definitely go again. Bring your friends too. I’m sure, you won’t forget these days in your life.
